Andrew ThomasAn undercover investigation by Cook County Sheriff's Police revealed that inmate Andrew Thomas, 18, of Chicago, had requested the murder of his girlfriend due to the additional felony charges he is facing directly related to an aggravated domestic battery case that occurred between them.

He offered a $3,000 fee for her murder and an additional $1,000 for her three children, who range in age from two to four years old, if they interfered with this plot. A fourth child, the only one fathered by Thomas, was not to be harmed. He requested it be completed prior to his next court date on December 3, 2012. His arrest record shows nine Class X felony arrests.

He has now been charged with Solicitation for Murder and Solicitation for Murder for Hire which are both felonies. He appeared in bond court this morning and was issued a $2 million dollar bond. His next court date is scheduled for December 6, 2012 at the Criminal Courts Building.
